Duo album featuring Brazilian pianist Helio Alves
Acclaimed Danish bassist Torben Westergaard teams up with the masterful Helio Alves (known for his work with Brazilian legends like Rosa Passos and Joyce) for their latest release, Dialogues.
As an added feature, the recording contains the song Den første gang jeg så dig (The First Time I Saw You), written by Swedish lyricist Birger Sjöberg in 1905. This song’s enchanting melody and positive, loving atmosphere aim to offer a meaningful and heartfelt contribution to our troubled world.
This release completes the trilogy of Brazilian-inspired albums in combination with the earlier releases of Brazilian Heart and Jazz Brazil. The song Higher Minds has, at this point, more than 108K streams on Apple Music.
